What type of premium rate phone services do you offer?

Abacus Telecom Ltd. concentrate on providing the BEST REVENUES POSSIBLE pre-recorded phone content, which is hosted on our high capacity IVR platform, enabling your premium rate numbers to receive hundreds of simultaneous calls. Our clients our generally larger volume, longer term clients although we are happy to work with new companies and individuals. We can also accommodate alternative pre-recorded content that you wish us to host for you. This must be supplied to us in WAV audio format and should not be content that needs to be updated on a regular basis.

Are there any monthly or annual fees?

There are NO monthly or annual ongoing fees to pay.

How much do I get paid?

From a £1.50 per minute call cost, you receive a guaranteed revenue rate of £1.05 per minute. This includes the routing, IVR hosting and supplied content with NO hidden fees.

Do you deduct tax?

No, the revenue rates quoted are the final net amount that you receive. We do not deduct tax from these payments.

How and When do I get paid?

All revenue is paid directly into your bank account via BACS direct bank transfer either on or just before the 15th of each month (one month in arrears).

As the VIP Network is primarily designed for customers able to generate high call volumes, the total monthly revenue due to you must exceed £50 in order to qualify for payment. Please note that lesser amounts do NOT roll over to the following month.

Can I call the Premium rate phone numbers from mobiles?

Our numbers are compatible with all major networks.

How do I monitor my calls?

You have 24/7 log-in access to a password protected website that provides detailed real-time call statistics for all of the numbers assigned to your account.

What prefix will my Premium Rate numbers have?

Typically, the numbers issued to you will have the 0982 prefix. However, 0908 or 0909 numbers are available upon request.

Do I need to be a registered company to set up a service with you?

No, we are more than happy to work with individuals who see the potential for generating revenue from premium rate lines. However, in order for us to comply with our Due Diligence obligation, please note that you will be asked to provide us with 2 forms of personal ID.

Can you help with my advertising?

Yes, we provide a direct booking service for national newspaper, magazine and TV advertising. We will advise you on the best options to suit your marketing budget and, even better, we can usually secure discounted rates on your behalf.

Please note that in order to comply with the code of practice set by the premium rate industry regulator PHONEPAYPLUS, you must present any marketing material to us for approval before releasing it into the public domain.

How quickly can I get up & running?

Upon placing your order, you'll receive an automated email from our shopping cart confirming your payment. Then within 24 hours you'll receive a welcome email from a member of our sales team. Having received your ID, we always aim to have your numbers ready for use within 2-3 working days.
